What Is Pro-Life?

  • Being pro-life means that all humans born and unborn have the right to life.
  • From the moment a person comes into existence at conception until natural death, pro-life people believe that it is wrong to end the life of an innocent human being.
  • As a result, pro-life people are opposed to abortion, research that involves the destruction of embryos, assisted suicide, and euthanasia.
  • There is difference of opinion about how or whether these beliefs should be enshrined in law.
  • Pro-life people believe that mothers and unborn babies have the right to life, and therefore both deserve our care and support.
  • You should join us in the pro-life movement if you believe that all human beings are born with equal rights and moral value, and also that no one should be able to take the life of another innocent human being
There are many misconceptions about what it means to be pro-life, so we encourage you to come to our events, meet us, ask us questions or find out more information from pro-life organisations. More detailed explanations of what it means to be pro-life can be found here, and here.
